Worship Ministry
Worship is a VERB: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30. That is our goal whether you are attending our 8:30am Majestic Life Service led by organ and celebrating the great hymns of faith, or at our contemporary Life Out Loud Services [9:45am & 11:00am] led by our praise band.Our Mission is to WORSHIP in and from the core of our being, not just go through the motions, but engage in an authentic encounter with God, honoring Him and expressing our love through our praise. Our goal is to be intergenerational in every way, purposefully drawing together all generations in worship.
FBC is reshaping the church myth that "it's better to segregate age groups", through our Core Value #3 - Intergenerational: Our vision is to have a balance of age groups enjoying significant relationships with one another".
In the area of worship, that vision is being fulfilled on a regular basis as we have designated Intergenerational Sundays when our youth band combines with our praise team to lead our congregation in worship at all our services and also intergenerational Christmas and Easter worship choirs welcoming ALL ages!
AND...build up future worship leaders!
