Child Dedication / Parent Commissioning

Parent commissioning is a time when we encourage parents to dedicate themselves to raising their children with an example of God working in the parent's life and to provide ample opportunity for the child to know and accept Christ as their Savior.

  • It does not give the child any “leg up” in their spiritual life
  • It is a lifetime commitment to live your life as an example for your child to “Follow me as I follow Christ.”
  • Your child does not have to be a certain age to participate

For more information or to sign up, please contact Justin Schroeder, Children’s Director at justin@fbcboise.org or 344.7809.

The Insanity of God

We are going to be showing the movie The Insanity of God.  We will be providing popcorn.  There will be children's programing provided by our Kids Night Live or you can bring your kids with you.

The Insanity of God is the true story of missionaries Nik and Ruth Ripken. After the death of their son, this ordinary couple journeys into the depths of the persecuted church, asking the question- IS JESUS WORTH IT?

How does faith survive, let alone flourish in the places of the world that are over come with the darkness of sin, despair and hopelessness? Join the Ripkens as they tell the story of being taught by believers in persecution"how to follow Jesus, how to love Jesus, and how to walk with Him day by day even when it doesn't make sense."
