First Baptist Youth Ministries exists to help ordinary teenagers move together toward extraordinary living through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We seek to accomplish our vision with excellence when we gather together by:
Inciting WONDER - helping teenagers embrace the trustworthiness of God by capturing the imagination of God's love and the reality of relationship with Him.
Provoking DISCOVERY - helping teenagers center their identity on the truth, "Jesus is Lord," by giving opportunities to unpack the truth of God's Word, therefore seeing themselves in the truth of who God made them to be.
Fueling PASSION - helping teenagers walk in the way of Jesus by living sacrificially, lovingly, generously and compassionately amount our neighbors and giving opportunities to serve and discover their personal and spiritual gifting.
Jr. & Sr. HIgh (5th-12th Grade)
10:00 am at the HUB Youth Center (1408 W State St. - Next to Fanci Freeze)
Our goal is to achieve excellence in our vision by guiding students into a personal relationship with God and understanding what it means and looks like to follow Jesus daily through worship and small group discussion. You’ll meet caring adult leaders who are passionate about guiding students in their next step of faith in Jesus. You can also expect to connect with other students through a short game or mixer.

Midweek Small Groups
JR. HIgh (5th - 8th Grade)
Wednesdays from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm @ the HUB
On Wednesday evenings at The Hub Student Center (Next to Fanci Freeze) we hold Junior High Youth Group. We provide $1 drinks and snacks. Our goal is to achieve excellence in our vision by giving students the opportunity to invite their friends to an engaging, enjoyable community experience where they will hear and wrestle with God’s truth through games/mixers, biblical and relevant speaking and small groups based on age and gender for discussion and application.
Sr. High (9th - 12th Grade)
Tuesdays from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm @ the HUB
On Tuesday evenings at The Hub Student Center (next to Fanci Freeze) we hold Senior High Youth Group. Our goal is to achieve excellence in our vision by helping students connect with God in a deeply personal way and equipping them to apply the message and power of the gospel to their daily context through worship, biblical and relevant talks and wrestling with God’s truth in a small group setting and sometimes games/mixers.
Each year we partners with nine churches and youth ministries in the Treasure Valley to provide both a Summer and Winter camp in an effort to allow the students an opportunity to find retreat and experience God.
The Launch Pad is a place where students can connect with God and their friends, during school hours, in a way that encourages them to launch into their world fully equipped to live out their faith. We offer Christian Release Time Bible Classes (taught by local youth pastors/workers) that high school students can sign up for as an elective class.
